William Cecil ButcheeFuneral services for William Cecil Butchee, 80, of Beaumont will be 2:00 PM Saturday, December 18, 2010 at Sabine Tabernacle in Beaumont with interment following in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM Friday at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee.

Mr. Butchee was born September 10, 1930 in Humble to Aubrey and Thelma Butchee. He died December 14, 2010 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont.

Bill lived in Humble for a short time then moved to Loeb as a child. He joined the US Marines in 1950 and served in Korea. Bill later married Dorothy Jordan and raised two children. He worked as a supervisor for Mobil Oil and Mobil Chemical before retiring. Bill was a loving and giving father and grandfather in so many ways.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Aubrey and Thelma Butchee, brothers Junior and Bobby Butchee and Jerry Inman and sisters Gwendolyn Sullivan and Jessalyn Barks.

Bill is survived by his daughter Marcella and husband Glenn Worthey of Beaumont and son William (Butch) Butchee of Frisco. He was also blessed with five grandchildren whom he adored -Kyle, Brett, Trent, Ryan and Jacob. Bill is also survived by his sister, Helen Malone of Houston; brother Ray Inman of Arlington and a host of nieces and nephews.

So sorry for your loss. Bill helped me and many others get the job that we have now. He was a real character with his dry wit. Not many people can go thru life saying they helped change people's lives for the better....Bill could and did. I am forever thankful. RIP Bill

I guess Rayburn stopped on his way by and got him so he wouldn't have to face the Lord alone. I am lucky to be able to say he was my Friend, step-dad of sorts, and mentor. He was loved and will be missed.
