Cora Lee SmithCora Lee Smith, 88, of Huntington, WV. passed away Friday, January 7, 2011 in the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington, Huntington, WV. She was born April 8, 1922 in Wayne, WV to the late Leroy and Millie Napier Brumfield. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Emmitt Edward Smith; two sons Robert Leon Smith and Donald Allen Smith; and three brothers. She is survived by her daughter Sheila (David) Edwards; two brothers Emmitt Brumfield and Estil Brumfield; two sisters Sylvia Goul and Noretta Adkins; three grandchildren Shawn, Kim and Marsha; eight great grandchildren and one great great grandson. Funeral services will be conducted 4 p.m. Sunday, January 9, 2010 at Apostolic Life Cathedral, Huntington, WV. by Pastor E.S. Harper. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery, Kenova, WV. Visitation will be held 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, January 9, 2010 at Apostolic Life Cathedral, Huntington, WV. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/hall.

sis shiela I am truly sorry for your loss.we just buried my dad last week(bro.vaughn).I know your pain but i also know we will go to be with them one day so we wont say goodbye just see you soon.we will miss them greatly in our lives.I really liked your mother.we shared a room together on a trip to New York.i will always remember her as a quiet pillar in the church. her legacy will live on every time you walk into the church or remeber and tell something she taught you.My prayers are with you and your family.God bless you. sis mary scheneberg and family.

This was one of the kindest Ladies that ever lived!!! She will be missed as a life long friend and as a Member of the Apostolic Life Cathedral Congregation!
