Dallas  StewartDallas Stewart, 84, of Proctorville, Ohio passed away Friday January 14, 2011 in St. Mary's Medical Center. He was born November 28, 1926 in Rockview, WV, son of the late Alonzo and Icie Stewart. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers Claren Stewart and Dennis Stewart both of Pineville, WV and two sisters Audie Evans of Madison, WV and Marie Scott of Pineville, WV. He is survived by his wife Mildred Stewart; son Gary (Lynn) Stewart of Houston, TX; daughter Patti Stewart of Proctorville, Ohio; grandsons G.T. and George Stewart of Houston, TX; great grandchildren, Dallas, Logan, And Tanner Stewart, and Kaidence Stewart; and sister Geneva Clay of Saulsville, WV. He was a WWII Navy veteran and retired from Eastern Coal after 34 years. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday January 18, 2011 at Hall Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in Woodmere Memorial Park Huntington, WV. Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday January 18, 2011 at Hall Funeral Home Proctorville, Ohio. Guyandotte VFW Post #9738 will conduct military graveside rites. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/hall.

Millie, Gary, & Patti, Very sorry to hear of Dallas' passing. You are all still missed in Pineville. I still look over at your old house every time I'm up that way. Sending love and prayers, Clara, Brenda&Gary, and Tammy P.S. W lost Dad 2/8/10 to a massive heart attack.

Dear Millie, Patti, and family, Cliff and I just heard of Dallas' passing. We are truly sorry for your loss. We have fond memories of Dallas and each of you. He was a gentleman with a caring heart and a great husband and father. We know how much Dallas meant to your family and hope all of the wonderful memories will help you at this sad time.
