Edward "Eddie" Lee Blanton, 72, of Chesapeake, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on Saturday January 29, 2011. He was preceded in death by a son Paul H. Emlich and his mother Peggy Littlejohn. Eddie was born January 9, 1939 in Ashland, KY. He is survived by his wife Jackie Blanton of Chesapeake; two daughters Terri (Randall) Lambert, and Cathy (Bert) Rideout; son Eddie (Nancy) Moyer; grandchildren Greg Lambert, Randi (Tim) Webb, Ashley Bragg, Catelyn Bragg, and Joshua Moyer; the loves of his life, great grandsons Cameron Lambert and Timothy Webb; and two brothers Gene Taylor and Charley Taylor. Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday February 1, 2011 at Hall Funeral Home by Pastor Jerry Galloway. Burial will follow in Miller Memorial Gardens Miller, Ohio. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday January 31, 2011 at Hall Funeral Home Proctorville, Ohio. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/hall.

Jackie and Family, I hate it that Ed has died. I enjoyed seeing and talking with him, especially joking around. He was a great guy.
