 Jacqueline "Jackie" Lynn Adkins, 58, of Barboursville, WV, passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at St. Mary's Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 31, 2011. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. She was born June 3, 1952 in Huntington, a daughter of Jack Chaffin of Hurricane and Doris Jean White Ward of Barboursville. She is also survived by her husband, Rodney Adkins; step-mother, Jean Chaffin of Hurricane and step-father, John Ward of Barboursville; two sons and daughter-in-law, Shawn Adkins of Barboursville and Shane and Robin Adkins of Barboursville; seven sisters, Phyllis France of Orlando, FL, Patricia Chaffin of Barboursville, Ella Roe of Huntington, Delores Smith of Barboursville, Shanna Blankenship of Huntington, Misty McCoy of Huntington, Lisa Reese of Hurricane; two brothers, Brian Chaffin of Barboursville and Rodney Chaffin of Huntington; four grandchildren, Cameron and Caleb Adkins, Hunter Nichols and Reagan Adkins. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace.

Jackie was my beautiful, amazing aunt. She had such a huge heart. She will be missed terribly by so many. God rest her soul.

Rodney, Shawn, Shane & Family,
I am truly sorry to learn of hte passing of Ms. Jackie as I called her. She had the kindest spirit, contagious laugh; the biggest heart and was an awesome cook! Cameron, Caleb, Hunter & Reagan, you had the greatest grandmother who loved you all dearly. Ms. Jackie, you will always be in my heart as you always have been and truly missed.
