Nola Sisson Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1922 - 2011 Nola Sisson, 88, of Huntington, W.Va., passed away Monday, January 31 2011, at Rivers Bend Nursing Home, South Point, OH. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00PM Thursday, February 3,2011, at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Rev. Tim Webb. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens , Huntington, WV. She was born October 21, 1922 in Charleston, W.Va. a daughter of the late Walter W. and Mable Casto Parsons. She was a homemaker who loved to sew and she was a member of Tucker Memorial Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Leonard Sisson, a daughter-in-law Donna Sisson and a brother Orland Parsons. Survivors include a son Tom Sisson of Richmond VA., a daughter and son-in-law Patricia and Tom Napier of Huntington, WV, Two granddaughters and a spouse Tina Tully of Huntington, WV, Jill and Robert Maynard of Kenova, WV, a grandson Thomas A. Napier, Jr of Richmond, VA, Two step-granddaughters Julie Roberts of Richmond, VA, Kelly Wellman of Gulfport, Miss., a great grandson Peter Tully, a sister Betty Jo Fint of Elizabeth WV., a sister-in-law Nina Parsons or Cincinnati, OH., and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 1:00PM till 2:00 PM Thursday at the Reger Funeral Home. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/reger

To the Sisson family, We have such wonderful memories of both of your parents. Your Dad helped fix up the old parsonage so Pat and I could rent it when we first got married and your Mom sewed curtains for it. I grew up down the block from your parents and they were always so kind to all the kids that played up and down the street. May you find peace in the fact that they are together again and are with the Lord. Love and prayers.

I loved your mom Patty. When I came to Tucker she made me feel like one fo the family. She was a blassing to all who knew her. I can see her and Miss Avis sitting up there talking and laughing now....
