1935 - 2011
 Rudy Edgar Winkler Jr at the age of 75 passed away on Tuesday, March 01, 2011 at a Kerrville, Texas hospital. He was born on August 10, 1935 in Houston Texas to Rudy and Antia "Schoenfeild Winkler Sr. Rudy married Carol Lake in 1954 in Houston Texas. He served in the National Guard for 6 years. Rudy worked and retired from the oil field as a drafting engineer. They moved to Kerrville from Houston in 2007. He was a member of Notre Dame Catholic Church of Kerrville. Rudy loved to wood work, fishing and hunting. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 daughters Sandra and Susan, 1 grandson Casey, and a baby brother.
Rudy is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Carol Winkler of Kerrville; 2 sons Jimmy Winkler and wife Cheryl of Dripping Springs, Texas and Raymond Winkler of Kerrville, Texas; 2 daughters Cathy Spinks and husband Brad of Bandera Texas and Joyce Sonnier and husband Ted of Louisianan; brother Kenneth Winkler and wife Cyrene of Tomball Texas; 12 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and many other family members and friends who love him will miss him.
Memorial services will be held at Kerrville Housing Center of Roy St in Kerrville.
Family memorial services will be held in Houston Texas at a later date. |
