Dolly Mae Holbrook, 88, of Chesapeake, Ohio passed away Tuesday March 1, 2011 in the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington. She was born January 24, 1923 in Tazewell, VA, daughter of the late Cephas and Julie Robinson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Randolph "Doc" Holbrook; and a sister Annette Robinson. She was a member of Lawrence County Extension Homemaker and a member of Good timers Bridge group. Dolly is survived by one son Tim Holbrook of Kitts Hill, Ohio; two daughters and sons-in-law Judy and Randy Ferguson of Huntington, WV and Randa Gail and Walt Holbrook of Ironton, Ohio; six grandchildren, Ben and Lisa Burgess, Ashlie Holbrook and Lonnie Winters, Amy and Adam Bittner, Robin and Josh Myers, Rebecca Holbrook, and Tommie and Nick Green; five great grandchildren David and Gretchen Burgess, Jaxon Myers, Van Bittner, and Nicholas Green; one brother R.C. and Mary Ann Robinson of Kings Port, TN. A graveside service will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday March 5, 2011 at Grandview Memory Gardens Bluefield, VA. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday March 3, 2011 at Hall Funeral Home Proctorville, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Huntington.
