Michael Mike-Ed McCaffery, 38, of Huntington, WV, passed away Friday, March 11, 2011 in Greenup, KY. Funeral service will be conducted at 2:30Pm at Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor Willis Mills. Burial will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Barboursville. He was born July 21, 1972, in Huntington, WV, the son of Timothy McCaffery of Huntington, WV and Frances Burton Mills of East Lynn, WV. He was a foreman at Asphlund Tree Company. He was preceded in death by his step mother Laura McCaffery, soul mate Ann Meade, his grandfather Joe Thompson, grandparents Charles and Cora Burton, Severn and Ruby Mills and two cousins J.J. Burton and Michael Webb. In addition to his parents Mike-Ed is survived by his step father Dale Mills of East Lynn, WV, sister and brother-in-law Brenda and David Miller of Catlettsburg, KY, brother and sister-in-law Tim and Candy McCaffery of Huntington, WV, brother and sister-in-law DC and Crystal Mills of East Lynn, WV, sister and brother-in-law Cortney and Eddie White of Fort Gay, WV, brother Cody Mills of East Lynn, WV, step sister and brother-in-law Lisa and Jamie Love of Proctorville, OH, step sister Renee Scott of Gallipolis, OH, his grandmother Betty Thompson of Barboursville, WV, and many special aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and co-workers.
