My great grandmother was my best friend. I loved her with everything in me. Im not sure if any of you will see this but i finially got the nerve to comment because this is the first christmas without her. Many of you probably arent randomly looking at this when you need to be reminded about how good of a person she was or thats shes really gone but i do because there was no funeral services it sometimes doesnt feel real to me until i go to call to make plans with her and the phone says her numbers disconnected. I can feel my mamaw here with me right now, she just put her had on my shoulder to let me know shes here. If i could say anything right now itd be merry christmas and that i love u very much

I was saddened to learn of Mrs. Workman's passing this evening. Although I had only met her several times through clinical instruction at Collins Career Center, she left a lasting impression on me. I would like to offer my sincere condolences to her friends and family.

To Linda's family, praying that GOD put his arms around you and gives you the comfort and strength that you need at this difficult time. I worked for 6 years with Linda on Neuro at St. Mary's. This was my first job after finishing nursing school. Linda took me under her wing and taught me so much about the ins and outs of nursing and today I am a much better nurse because of her. She had so much compassion for her patients and her job, she loved what she did, even though at times it was very stressful, she always left with a smile on her face. I was blessed to see Linda a month or so ago and thank GOD for that one last talk and bit of advise that she gave me. Great Loss, will miss you, R.I.P. Linda!

I'm so very sorry, the world lost a vibrant, kind and loving person. Linda always smiled and had a positive outlook even after so much adversity in her life. I knew her as a wonderful nurse and teacher. May God give you love and comfort.

Karen my thoughts are with you and Linda's famiily. I knew and worked with your mother at CHH, became friends and co-worker with you in the early 70s, and had the privilege to have Linda as a student at St.Mary's School of Nursing. It seems now that fate brought all of us together on the river cruise last summer, and treasure the time I got to spend with her that evening. Linda had a lot of adversity and was always able to display a positive outlook no matter how bleak things were. May she rest in peace and hope that you take comfort in how much the Ellis girls have left behind. Penny

I have known Linda since 1979 when she was one of my nurses at St. Mary's when I had back surgery. She was not only a good nurse but always lifted my spirits. In 1992 I started working at St. Mary's in Pastoral Care and renewed freindship with her. She was always a joy to be around with a delightful sense of hurmor. She was an excellent and caring nurse. It was a privilage to know her and work with her. May God's peace and comfort be with all the family members.

If you was one of the Lucky ones to have meet Linda you was very blessed. Linda was a great friend of mine, she was more than a friend she was part of my family, although there was no blood relation she was like a grandmother to me. It breaks my heart to know that she is no longer here with me. She was a very kind, loving, caring, giving person who always thought of others instead of herself, She gave a 100% of her entire being to help those who needed it. I am truly greatful to have had her in my life. She was always there for me and I will never forget her. If there was one thing I could tell her it would be this... I Love You my Best Friend! Thank you for everything! I will Miss you!!!!!

Karen, and Linda's family: We, too, are grieved by your great loss. Although we had not seen Linda for a few years, we thought about the two of you quite often. Death is a very tragic thing, but if we put our trust in the Lord Jesus Christ, He is ever near to comfort and strengthen us.

To have met Linda was to love Linda. Her caring spirit was one that many in the health care field could only wish for. Her ability to read people was a step above her ability to read palms, but both were priceless gifts. Her time was cut short in all of our hearts and minds. her impact greater than 200 years of life. Greatful to know her and love her! Thankful she used her God-given gifts well! Rest In Peace Linda Lou you earned your wings! You will be greatly missed!
