1966 - 2011
 Mark Allen Cade, 44, of Glenwood, WV, Devoted husband, father, son and brother went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 1, 2011. He was born November 23, 1966 in Ironton, Ohio. Mark was an employee of Greif Brothers for 22 years and was a member of the Safety Committee; member of Steelworkers Union #1652; and a member of Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Woody Smith. Mark is survived by his loving wife, Maggie Cade, four children at home, Mollie Louise Cade, Wilson Malachi Cade, Allison Miranda Cade, and Mark Eli Cade; two daughters of Ironton, Ohio Meghan Nicole Cade and Stephanie Michelle Cade; father , Charlie and Donna Cade of Huntington, WV; mother, Susan Cade of South Point, OH; sister, Karen Lemaster of South Point, OH; sister, Kimberly Cade of Charleston, WV; step sister, Carla Morris of Atlanta, GA; brother, Brian Cade of Huntington, WV; step brother, Tim Halfhill of Huntington, WV; mother-in-law, Betty Smith of Glenwood, WV; extended family of brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews; and numerous other family members and friends. Mark loved his family greatly and will be sadly missed. Visitation will be held 5 to 8 P.M. Sunday April 3, 2011 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio. Funeral service will be conducted 1 P.M. Monday April 4, 2011 at Hall Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Smith-Mayes Family Cemetery, Glenwood, WV. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/hall |

My uncle Mark was an unbelievable husband, dad, son, uncle and everything else that he was. Whatever he did he did it 100% I love my uncle Mark so much! He played such a big part in my life. No one will ever be able to fill. He will never be forgotten and will always be missed. Sissy Maggie I love you and the kids more than anything.

Mark was a man of honor and integrity. As each day passes, his impact on everyone he encountered becomes more evident. The entire community is caring for Maggie and their beautiful children in the same manner that Mark lived his life. He gave freely, expecting nothing in return. Our family was blessed to have such an Honorable Man Of God to call Brother in Law, Uncle and Friend. Maggie's heart is broken and no words can ease her pain, but through God and Prayer she will find guidance and strength to continue to live the life that she and Mark had created together for the children. We all LOVE YOU Maggie.

My daddy was a very good man. I loved him very much as did everyone else. My dad never said anything bad about anyone. My mom and us kids were what my father lived for. My dad worked every day Monday through Friday from 6 to 3. He did it all to make sure that we had a good life. I am thankful that I have such good uncles and two terrific grandfathers to help me and my mother with my brothers and sister. I want to thank god that I had my father even though it was only just a short amount of time.

When we lose someone we love, it seems that time stands still.
What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch, we may not understand why he left this earth so soon, or why he left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that he's gone , but that he lived. And that his life gave us memories too beautiful to forget.
