We are very sorry for your loss. We were Mr. Collier's customers, plus he did some roofing work for us once. We thought he was a very nice man. He was very pleasant and helpful and will be sadly missed.

Thanks for the condolences, my grandfather was loved by so many. He was a wonderful man & will live in his family's hearts forever. He always had a beautiful smile on his face and made everyone around him smile or laugh even if they didn't want to. He would make up silly songs just to hear us grandkids laugh. He was truely an amazing grandfather!! My grandmother was his everything, and I know he is watching over her from heaven and trying to heal her broken heart.

William Eugene "Bill" Collier, 72, of South Point, Ohio born July 10, 1938 lost his battle with cancer on Tuesday, May 3, 2011. He was the proud owner of Bill Collier Sanitation. He was preceded in death by his parents Hershell and Dorothy Collier; one daughter Kathy Torres; one sister Irene Adkins. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 52 years Janet Ratcliff Collier who was also his best friend; children Kay (Mike) Herget, Rita Floyd, Tammy (Lloyd) Damron, Larry (Stephanie) Collier, Ricky (Donna) Collier and a very very special daughter Angela Collier; 19 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and three brothers Vernon Collier, Rod Collier and Butch Collier. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He touched many lives and will never ever be forgotten. He will always and forever be in our hearts. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, May 7, 2011 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio by Derek Withrow. Burial will follow. Visitation will be held 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 7, 2011 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/hall.
