My Granny taught me many things, how to bake, how to sew, how to be a good wife and mother and most of all how to be a good person. I always remember her helping other people. I moved away when I was 8 years old but she never let me miss out on any of her peanut butter balls or better yet, peanut butter eggs for Easter. She used to make them and ship them to me wherever I happened to be in the country. That's a good Granny! She was the person that had to break the news to me that my Mother was in a near fatal car crash and I feel very blessed that it was her. I couldn't have had a more loving, comforting person tell me that and be there to support me. At the same time, she wasn't afraid to take the switch to me if I deserved it, I've been chased around by Granny with a flyswatter a time or two as well! She was fiesty, which I love! I like to think I have a little fire in me that I get from her. She was strong, funny and beautiful and I will miss her dearly; I have been truly blessed to have both her and my Papa in my life.
