Elmer Edward Fields, 81, of Ona, WV, passed away May 25, 2011. He was born September 9, 1929 in Milburn, WV, a son of the late Willie and Gladys Kelley Fields. He was a member of the Teamsters Union, and a veteran of the United States Army. He is survived by his wife, Faye Thompson Fields; one daughter and son-in-law, Verna and Allen Keaton; one son, Eddie Fields; one sister, Shirley Meadows and one brother, Everette Fields. Dear Faye, my deepest sympathies to you in your loss of your dear husband. Our families visited often when we were children, since his father and my mother were brother and sister, and I remember visiting back and forth with his and others in our close family group so long ago.
