Eleanor Lucille Dickson, 86, of Barboursville, WV passed away Saturday, September 3, 2011 in the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, WV. She was born August 22, 1925 in Huntington, WV daughter of the late Thomas V. and Goldie S. Cremeans Rowe. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Warren Dickson; siblings Thomas Rowe, Ernest Rowe, Violet Hughes, Nesbeth Clark, Lois Rice and Ernestine Pine. She is survived by her children Tim (Donna) Dickson and Tony DeMattie; four grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two sisters Carol Carson and Corine McCorkle. She was a member of Westmoreland Baptist Church. She retired from Owens Illinois with 35 years of service. Funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor Eddie Gandy. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, WV. Visitation will be held 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Huntington. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/hall. The family would like to express a special thank you to the staff at the Wynngate Community and to the staff of Hospice of Huntington.
