Bessie Evelyn Meadows, 81, of Huntington, WV passed away Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, WV. She was born March 17, 1930 in Raleigh, Co., WV daughter of the late James Paul and Minnie Elvyra Guy Dove. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Roy E. Meadows; and one brother Bob Dove. She is survived by her children James Leonard Evans, Richard A. Evans, Linda K. Rapp, Harvey C. Evans, Johnny R. Evans, Karen F. Hall, Michael K. Evans and Robin S. Meadows; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; two sisters Phylis Morrison and Nellie Wiley. Funeral service will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday, September 9, 2011 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio by Brother Tom Jones. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Huntington, WV. Visitation will be held 12 to 1 p.m. Friday, September 9, 2011 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Huntington.
