Gerald Douglas Neisess, 77, of Chesapeake, Ohio passed away Saturday September 10, 2011 at home. He was born September 27, 1933 in Wadena, Minnesota, to the late John Vernon and Margaret Pauline Miller Neisess. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers Donald and Gradyon Neisess; and stepson Jack Jackson Norris Jr. He is survived by his wife Betty Neisess; three children, Scott Neisess and wife Tammy, Steve Neisess and wife Patricia, and Sheila Stephens and husband David; four step-children Juanita Stroud and husband Mike, Dreama Bartram and husband Ray, Phyllis Adkins and husband Rick, and Charles Norris and wife Vickie; 17 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; and one brother Dennis Neisess. He retired from Chandler's and he was a U.S. Air Force veteran. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday September 13, 2011 at Hall Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Forest Memorial Park Milton, WV. Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday September 13, 2011 at Hall Funeral Home Proctorville, Ohio.
