 Joe Kerns, Jr. 40, of Crown City, Ohio passed away at home Tuesday, September 20, 2011. He was born February 5, 1971 in San Antonio, TX son of Ms. Sandra Ellis Kerns of Crown City, Ohio and the late Joe Kerns, Sr. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his financee' and mother of his children Sheila Reaper. In addition to his mother he is survived by his children Joshua Dean, Zachary Shane and his loving angel Kaylee Jo; one sister Rhonda and Allen Pruitt of Proctorville, Ohio; one brother Jason Dustin and Takisha Kerns of Katterback, Germany; two nephews; and four nieces. Joe was of Baptist faith. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, September 24, 2011 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor Jeff Black. Burial will follow in Miller Memorial Gardens, Miller, Ohio. Visitation will be held 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, September 23, 2011 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio.
