Katherine Beatrice Hamlin, 81, of Ironton, Ohio passed away Sunday September 25, 2011 in Southern Ohio Medical Center. She was born November 2, 1929 in Huntington, WV. She was preceded in death by her husband Keith Hamlin; son Donald Fields; and four sisters Anna Mae Holley, Mildred Hannan, Dorothy Blankenship, and Wanda Barry. She is survived by her grandchildren Ronald Fields, Donna Hobbs, and Janet Fields, and their mother Linnie Fields; four great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday September 28, 2011 at Hall Funeral Home by Pastor Chuck Barry. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery.
