Donald Ray WilliamsDonald Ray Williams, 82, of Chesapeake, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 18, 2011 at St. Mary's Medical Center, Huntington, WV. He was born January 20, 1929 in Crown City, Ohio son of the late Mack and Pearl Williams. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters Louise (Denver) Swain and Delsie June (Charles) Burgess; one brother Jack (Marlene) Williams; and one grandson Joseph Williams. He is survived by his wife of 63 years Grace Williams; seven children Donna (Wetzel) Bias, Stephen (Linda) Williams, Dana (Dennis) Huff, Lana (Larry) Howard, Shelia Kingery, Jerry Williams, Teresa (Dale) Guillot; 16 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one sister Lois Gail (Warren) Holley; brother-in-law Mack (Patty) Akley; two sisters-in-law Helen (Ralph) Freeman and Pauline (Jim) Blankenship. He was retired from Houdaille Industries and Collins Career Center. Donald was a member of the Good Shepherd Holiness Church of Huntington for over 30 years. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and devout servant of the Lord, never passing up an opportunity to share the Gospel. Funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio with Rev. Jason Paynter officiating. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, Ohio. Visitation will be held 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio.
