John Edward Davis, 60, of Huntington, WV passed away Monday December 26, 2011 in St. Mary's Medical Center. He was born July 17, 1951 in Milton, WV to the late Clarence Davis and Della Galloway. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Marion Davis; and a step brother David Conrad. He is survived by his wife Diane Davis; daughter Shawna Rowe of Huntington, WV; two sons Robert Davis of Burlington, Ohio and John Davis of Ironton, Ohio; six grandchildren; one great grandson; two brothers Clarence Davis Jr. and Charles Davis; four sisters Betty Brown, Pat Liston, Brenda Gordon, and Rosa Galloway. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday December 30, 2011 at Hall Funeral Home by Pastor D.L. Webb. Burial will follow in Miller Memorial Gardens Miller, Ohio. Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday December 30, 2011 at Hall Funeral Home Proctorville, Ohio. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/hall.

john u was awesome man whom i thought of as my father in law. my thoughts and prayers go out to his whole family. if anyone knew this man they knew how great of a person he is. john edward davis u may be gone but i will never forget all the talks we had when i needed advice u was always there. i will never forget u. R.I.P JOHN I WILL MISS U. LOVE TAMMY FAYE DAVIS

Daddy, I miss you and love u more than u can imagine .this is the hardest thing I have ever had to go through you can finally rest now and not be in pain.and I am happy about that.
