Philip R. Hager, 81,formerly of Huntington, WV went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 6, 2012 at Spring Creek Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Hubert Heights, Ohio. He was born April 23, 1930 in Milton, WV son of the late Ray and Marie Hager. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother Don Hager. He is survived by his wife Fern; daughter and son-in-law Janie and Randy Allen; three grandchildren; six great grandchildren; sisters Ruth (Bob) Elliott and Janie Hager; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was an U.S. Army Veteran. He retired from Perry Norvell Shoe Company. There will be no services. Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio assisted the family with arrangements. Phil was the best dad in the world. I love him with all my heart. I miss him so much but know that he is with God today. He was the best grandpa and great-grandpa ever. The kids loved him so very much.
