I was sad to hear of Caroline's passing. I have not seen her for 45 years, but have such good childhood memories of how kind she was to me, living across the street on Woodland, and me being two years younger. We had some happy childhood experiences. Long bike rides to her Aunts in Brackett, camping in her back yard and sitting and talking on the "island" in the street. My condolences to your family. May you always smile when you think of her. Kathy Jorgensen Church

I AM SO SAD TO HEAR THAT CAROLYN PASSED AWAY. I HAVE KNOWN HER FOR OVER 45 YEARS. FIRST IN JUNIOR HIGH, HIGH SCHOOL, UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN-EAU CLAIRE AND FINALLY AS A ROOMMATE WHILE WE LIVED IN THE MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL AREA WHERE WE WORKED AS SECRETARIES IN DOWNTOWN MINNEAPOLIS. SHE HAD SO MUCH INNER STRENGTH RAISING HER DAUGHTER BY HERSELF AND GRADUATING AT THE UNIVERSITY LEVEL S A COURT REPORTER AND MOVING WITH HER DAUGHTER TO WEST VIRGINIA TO ACCEPT A LUCRITIVE COURT REPORTING POSITION THERE. SHE SUCCEEDED AT ALL HER ENDEAVORS AND I AM PROUD TO CALL HER MY FRIEND. MY SINCERE CONDOLENSES TO THE FAMILY.
