Percy  Keaton

Percy Keaton age 85 of Martha, KY went home to be with his Heavenly Father on February 10, 2012 after an extended illness.

He was born in Lawrence County in Terryville on January 27, 1927, a son of the late Spence and Nola Elkins Keaton. He was a resident of Martha for several years.

Percy was preceded in death by four sisters, Pauline Cole, Lois Keaton, Emma K. Sparks Kelly, and America Merkie Keaton; two brothers Hershell Jr. Keaton and Virgil Keaton.

He is survived by his wife Polly Keaton, special daughter Rosemary & husband Joe Honeycutt; three loving grand daughters, Lora Elam and husband Donnie, Teresa Mosley and huband Randy, Stephanie and husband Keith Cisco; a precious grandson Samuel David Collins and wife Phyllis; thirteen grandchildren, and a great great grandson Layne Holbrook; two loving sisters Maxine Rowland and Dixie Collier and husband Wendell; Special Friends John Rigsby, Bennie Keaton and Ralph Cordle.

Funeral services will be conducted by Bro. Ralph Cordle and Bro. Eullis Adams on Monday February 13th at 1:00 pm at the Old Paint Church at Crockett, KY. Burial will follow in the Nanny Skaggs Cemetery at Martha, KY.

Friends may call after 2:00 pm Saturday and anytime on Sunday at the Old Paint Church Crockett, KY

Our hearts are sadden that Percy has left us. He will be greatly missed.Our hearts are at peace knowing he is with our heavenly father!God only cries for the living because the living are the ones left to carry on! Our thought's are with Polly and the family! Love Bennie and Phyllis
