To all of the family, most of you do not know me but Adam was really special to my son Jarrett. He really loves him. He was such a GREAT guy and good for so many many children, most of all his own. The last time I saw him coaching a a game, one of the first things he did was to show me a picture of Christen. Be blessed and know that Adam was deeply loved by so many. God be with all of you

I have and will be praying for your family during this trying time. I went to high school with Adam, and honestly I never ever heard one negative comment made toward him, ever. You just don't find that much. He was always friendly and kind, always! May God keep you all in his big hands and bless you with peace, comfort, and understanding in this difficult time. May he also continue to touch you all in the years to come.

Adam has been a wonderful friend since Kindergarten and I will truly miss him. I apparently told him 'money can't buy me love' when we broke up in 5th grade. But I think our Senior trip was the most memorable. Love and prayers to Christian and the entire family.

Jackie and Christian, please know that we are truly sorry for your loss. We know what a devoted professional, a dedicated coach, and a loving father he was. He adored Christian! We are sure he will be greatly missed but fondly remembered by many. He always had a smile and a wave to share as he passed by on the street, regardless of whatever else was on his mind. We hope your kind memories of him and the love of your family and friends will bring you some comfort, and in time, peace. May God bless you, his parents, his brother, and all his family and friends who are grieving this loss. Sincerely, Erica, Moses, Olivia and Avery

The world's light has lost some of its shine. Adam was definitely a one of kind guy that made a positive impact in those around him. This is apparent in the many comments here and on his Facebook page by old Chesapeake friends to the newest friends in his life. May the good deeds carry on in those who loved him most. You will be missed by many, forgotten by none. Rest in Peace.

Words cannot express how sorry me and my family were to hear the news of Adam passing away. Adam was always a joy to be around and he set a fine example for the rest of us. Although Adam would want everyone to be positive, things will not be the same until we are able to see him again.

I worked with Adam a number of years at Spilman, Thomas & Battle in Charleston. In fact, our offices were next door to each other the whole time and we enjoyed playing basketball on Tuesday nights. Adam was always a stand up guy; one whose smile was infectious and his always positive attitude touched every person he came into contact with. He will truly be missed. My sincere and deepest condolences to his wife, Jaclyn, his son and the rest of his family. I will keep you all in my prayers!

Just a note to say how much Adam will be missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to his entire family and friends. Adam was a life long friend of mine. I've got scrapbooks from years gone by with many memories of him in them. He was so kind, funny, caring and just a guy who you knew would always be there for you! Adam, you will be missed!

I am so sorry for your families loss. Adam was my son's basketball coach 4 years ago at Kanawha City. He was the first coach who took the time to really work with Cameron and taught him so much. As their season was beginning, Cameron broke his arm in practice, but Adam wouldn't let him quit and continued making him practice using his left arm. I tell people all the time that Adam is one of the main reasons Cameron is as good as he is today. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.
