1923 - 2012
Cloie Irene Scarberry, 89, of Scottown, Ohio, peacefully left her home she shared with her nephew Fred Davis and his wife Joan to be with her Lord on Sunday February 19, 2012. Irene was born February 8, 1923 to the late Banks and Mary Brooks Scarberry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 10 siblings. Irene lived her life in Lawrence County and was a devoted caretaker to many. She is survived by many nieces and nephews and will be sadly missed by all who loved her. Funeral service will be conducted 2 P.M. Wednesday February 22, 2012 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio by Rev. Cleo Watson. Visitation will be one hour before service. Burial will follow in Scarberry Family Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Huntington. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/hall

Her witness was strong so that gives me much relief and hope in knowing where she opened up her new eyes. I will miss the interesting amd remarkable memories she had and shared. She will be greatly missed even though I didn't know her long. Much love and many prayers of comfort goes to Fred and Joan for being so wonderful to her in her greatest time of need.
Rewards in heaven are layed up for ones who show that kind of great compassion for another.
