Charles Herbert Kimble, 81, of South Point, Ohio, passed away Friday February 24, 2012 at King's Daughters Medical Center Ashland, KY. He was born January 1, 1931 in Hamlin, WV the son of the late Charles and Virgie Kimble. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lou Smith Kimble, son William Edward (Ed) Kimble, brother Arthur Kimble, and sister Doris Ann Kimble. Charles is survived by son, Jack Kimble of South Point, OH; sister Jane McClure of Anderson, SC; nephew Scott and Middy McClure of Anderson, SC, great niece Kinsey McClure of Anderson, SC, great nephew Matthew and Ashley McClure of Anderson, SC, brother, Paul Kimble of Inwood, WV; daughter-in-law, Teresa Kimble of Chillicothe OH and three grandchildren, Kenny and Brittney Tennison of South Point of OH, Tommy Tennison of Pedro OH, and Jessica Hatten of Franklin Furnace, and eight great grandchildren, Tanner, Caleigh, Katie, Robbie, Ricky, Destyni, Jade and Haley. Charles served in the U.S. Air Force with 22 1/2 years of service, and was a Vietnam Veteran; he then worked at Xerox Corporation and retired, and was last employed at Ashland Office Supply for approximately 20 years. He graduated from Hamlin High School in 1948 and was a member of the South Point Baptist Church. Grave side services will be held Sunday February 26, 2012 at 3 p.m. at Lincoln Memorial Park in Hamlin, WV.
