Patti was a good friend and neighbor when I lived on Gardner Lane. Growing up, we visited back and forth many, many times. After I'd left the area, and she was a nurse, she was very kind to my father during some of his hospital days. We lost touch as we grew older, but I remember her fondly and wish peace and understanding to her family as they grieve.

I just found out and am very saddened to hear the news of her passing. She was my instructor @ SMSON and admired her and thought of her often during the years. I admired her and felt she was a terrific mentor. Please accept my deepest sympathies.

I first met Patti in May of 1989 @ SMMC in the MICU. When I think of Patti, what comes to mind is her kindness and genuine respect & compassion she gave to all. When Patti reported to work she always came giving her employees, students, co-workers, patients and their families 100%! I'm still kinda in shock that she has passed. I just ran into her at Fruth's in Proctorville a couple of weeks ago. Thoughts & prayers to her husband and family. She was not only an excellant nurse but also one special lady that will be missed by all who knew her.

I was so saddened to hear of Patti's passing. She and Mrs. Williamson were an integral part of my children's growing up years and although I only had a few conversations with Patti in the past 10 years since I moved to Charleston and then to North Carolina, I still considered her a dear friend. I met her when she was 18 and I was 23 and new to Ohio. She and I became fast friends and I knew I could always count on that friendship. My heart and prayers go out to the entire family and I ask that God makes your pain more bearable in knowing that she is with her Savior. Blessings, Penny Stuart

We had privilege to work with Patti @ St. Mary's. She was a rare asset indeed-- an intelligent AND caring person. You could never ask her a question and her not know the answer without hesitation. She would also go out of her way to do what was right for the patient. Her most admirable quality was her ability to stick to what she believed in. In a world where the accepted thing to do is bend over backward to please people (whether in the right or not) she would do and say what her conscious said was right. St. Mary's was not the same without her and the world will hurt a little more now, too. Our deepest condolences to her family and loved ones.

Mike, we are so sorry to hear about your loss, but hope you are comforted by knowing that the one that Patty placed her faith in is indeed faithful. Her soul lives on in that place of rest where there is no more pain, tears, sorrow, or dying. Where all is joy, and Jesus our savior is the light. You will see her again one day.
