Faye Ellen Blake, 59, of Crown City, Ohio, passed away Saturday February 25, 2012, in King's Daughters Medical Center. Ellen was born November 9, 1952 in Huntington, WV. She was preceded in death by her mother, Joann Dennison; and her husband, Michael Steven Blake. Ellen is survived by her father and step mother, Gordon L. and Norma Jean Dennison; three children, Eric Blake of Crown City, Ohio, Tony Blake and wife Janice of Oceanside, CA, and Sara Smithers and husband Andy of Proctorville, Ohio; two grandchildren, Kristina and Michael Steven Blake; one sister, Diane Foss and husband Mike of Woodstock, GA; one brother, Nate Dennison and wife Reagan of Searcy, Arkansas; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Funeral service will be conducted 2 P.M. Tuesday February 28, 2012 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor Jerry Galloway. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery. We are so sorry to hear about Ellen's passing. Ellen was one of the most kind hearted person I've ever known. I have known Ellen for as long as my memory goes. My mother & her mother Joan were best friends as young girls & into their married life so I played with Ellen as a young girl & remained a friend from that point on. You will all be in my prayers & thoughts in the coming days & months.

I am so sorry to hear of Ellen's death. She and I were best of friends when we were tiny children. Though we haven't seen each other in many years, I still cared a lot for her. My heart hurts for your loss. I will pray for your family.

I want to send my condolence to Tony,Eric,Sara and to the rest of the family.I will miss aunt Ellen she was a wonderful person and there was nothing she wouldn't do for you if she had it.she was like a mom to me and she will be greatly missed and loved and she was a great aunt i love you aunt Ellen and will miss you.
