Johnda Kay Rice 65 of Webbville, KY was called Home to be with our Lord early Thursday morning April 5, 2012. Johnda was born April 4, 1947 at Kings Daughters Hospital in Ashland, KY.
Johnda was a member of the United Food and Commercial Union for thirty-five years. Since her retirement she had become a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with and talking to her family and friends.
Johnda was preceded in death by a son, James Scott Rice and her father Mayo Kelly. She is survived by her mother Essie Dalton Kelly of Ashland, KY; her husband John Alfred Rice and a daughter Angela Lynn Rice both of Webbville, KY; a sister Linda Kelly Jobe of Fallsburg, KY; Johnda had two neices Barbara Rice of Owensville, KY and Tammy Marcum of Fallsburg, KY. She had two nephews John Lee Rice of Louisa, KY and Chris Jobe of Fallsburg, KY. Johnda also had several great nieces and nephews who she loved very much Casey Damron and Carrie Vice of Owensville and Ryan Rice of Prestonsburg, KY as well as Ryand and Cameron, Brady and Anna, and Jackson.
Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday April 8th at 2:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home by Bro. Lincus Hogston. Burial will follow in the Adams Cemetery at Webbville, KY.
Friends may call from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm Saturday at the Wilson Funeral Home.
