Tony Dale Black, 55, of Proctorville, Ohio passed away Thursday April 5, 2012 in St. Mary's Medical Center. He was born November 24, 1956 in Huntington, WV. He was preceded in death by his father Chester Black and brother Donald Black. Tony was a 1975 graduate of Symmes Valley High School and was employed as a bus driver with the Fairland School District. He is survived by his wife Dayna Robinson Black; mother Wanda Hayes of Proctorville; son Tony D. II(Heather) Black of Proctorville; three daughters Rebecca Black of Huntington, WV, Danielle Elizabeth Black and April Caroline Black both of Proctorville; four grandchildren Austin Main, Tony "Trey" Black III, Abigail Black, and Tanner Black; one brother Fred Black of Proctorville; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday April 10, 2012 at Hall Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday April 9, 2012 at Hall Funeral Home Proctorville, Ohio. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/hall.

Thank everyone who posted their thoughts or remember us in prayer. This world is a much darker place without my husband. He tried to take care of everyone, and did most times. He loved the kids on his bus, and was proud of all of them. God gained a hard-working angel. Blessings, Dayna Black

Hey, i am so sorry about Tony. He was a great man. Mine and my brothers bus driver. He will be deeply and truly missed!! He was one of the best men i ever known and i will treasure the memories of him. He called my little brother Chuck "sugar lips" because of him wearing my chap stick.:/ I have met his daughters and his grandson and they are the best.I wish you all the best and hope the world for you all.

So sorry to hear about the loss of Tony! He was always so nice. When I got on and off of the bus he would always say something silly to me! He was loved by each and every one of us who rode. I will be keeping you guys in my thoughts!

I am so sorry to hear about Tony's passing. He was such a wonderful man. He was always good to my children and nice to me. He was the first bus driver my kids had when we moved to Proctorville, and we always admired him and loved him. Your family will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Dayna and family we are just heart sick from the shock of losing our friend. Tony was a sweet person that would help anyone in need. Take comfort in the fact that I don't know of anyone that didn't like Tony. Prayers for you all. If you need anything let me know or if I can help with info you may need.

We would like to express our deepest sympathy to the Black family. Our sons rode his bus on the Big Paddy run and thought the world of Tony. He was the nicest bus driver and will be missed.

Wanda and family sorry to hear about the passing of Tony. I have a lot of great memories of Tony from his school days at S.V. and playing on the football team with my son Chris . He was a great player! You will be in our prayers.
