Margaret Capper Rankin Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1928 - 2012 Margaret Capper Rankin, 83, of Crown City, Ohio passed away Thursday, April 19, 2012 at Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington, WV. She was born November 24, 1928 in Lawrence County, Ohio daughter of the late Herbert and Mae Burcham Capper. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Vinton A. Rankin; one brother Donald O. Capper; and one sister Mildred Corbin. She is survived by her children Charlotte Rankin Garbesi of Huntington, WV., Terry Michael and Nika Rankin of New Albany, Ohio, and Connie and Kenneth Turley of Crown City, Ohio; grandchildren Mike and Lori Bowen, Basil and Jennifer Bailey, Bill and Mara Bailey, Terry and Anneliese Rankin, Tom Rankin and Sarah Rankin; great grandchildren Carson Bailey, Andrew Bowen, Charlotte Bowen, Sydney Rankin, Ashley Rankin, Lyniyah Rankin, and McKenzie Bailey. She was a member of Crown City Community Church. She was also a member of Eastern Star #437 Ironton, Ohio. She retired from the United States Postal Service. Funeral service will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday, April 21, 2012 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor Mike Dickerson. Burial will follow in Crown City Cemetery, Crown City, Ohio. Visitation will be held 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday April 21, 2012 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Crown City Community Church, Crown City, Ohio. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/hall.

Connie, I am so very sorry to hear of your loss. What sorrow and hurt you must be dealing with at this time. Just remember that she is not gone forever and one day you will get to be together in heaven. You must hold onto that hope.

Connie and family, we were so sad to hear of Sis's passing although we know she is in Heaven with our Jesus. We are so sorry we did not make it to the funeral. We missed when it was. We love your family very much and Sis will be greatly missed!

To the family of Margaret (sis) Rankin I'm so sorry to hear of your loss my deepest condolences to all of you. I never met her but I was told she was a lovely lady.I work for A&L Home Health an one of my clients spoke so much of her.
