Ada R. Chandler Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1937 - 2012 Ada R. Chandler, 75, of Chesapeake, Ohio passed away Saturday April 21, 2012 in St. Mary's Medical Center. Ada was born March 5, 1937 in Lawrence County, Ohio, daughter of the late Clifford and Lydia Siders Cornell. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Melvin R. Chandler; and son, Randy Ray Chandler. Ada was a member of the Chesapeake Church of Nazarene. She is survived by two sons; Melvin L. (Sharon) Chandler of Chesapeake, OH, and Richard (Lois) Chandler of Kitts Hill, OH; three grandchildren, Shelly Chandler Scribner of Circleville, OH, Chadwick Allen Chandler of Chesapeake, OH, and Dustin Chandler of Kitts Hill, OH; two great grandchildren; five brothers; two sisters; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be conducted 11 A.M. Tuesday April 24, 2012 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor Paul Merritt and Pastor Ross McCullon. Burial will follow in Miller Memorial Gardens, Miller, Ohio. Visitation will be 6 to 8 P.M. Monday April 23, 2012 at Hall Funeral Home. Just found out on this site about Ada Rose passing She was a great Christian lady & she was also a great aunt to me. My prayers are with all of you!!

So sorry to hear about Mrs. Chandler passing, she loved her family and will be greatly missed by all of us who knew and loved her.

So sorry to hear about Mrs.Ada she is one of the sweetist ladies I have ever known. I can remember going up to her house and helping her make a car cake for Richards birthday she was so excited for him to see it. She took care of my mom while I worked and she was so sweet to her I dont know what I would have done without her. I know she is heaven she set the example of how a christian should be.I will miss her and and waiting for the day I will see her again. She is a beautiful friend I know she was a great mom and grandmother.I love Ms.Ada. keeping her family in my prayers. I am so glad God gave me the opportunity to be a part of her life.
