Blake, Andrea, and other family members, You are in my thoughts and prayers. We CAN'T understand the WHY, but we CAN TRUST the heart of the Lord in Heaven. Your hearts are broken, but His was too when Jesus died to become our Savior. May the Comforter give you peace as you walk THROUGH this valley of the shadow of death. His rod and staff will guide you in the days, weeks and months ahead.

I worked with Terry at the VA and he was always such an upbeat, funny person. We always would cut up and joke around. He was a good hearted person. He will be missed greatly by his VA family.

Terry Dwayne Wilks, 44, of Chesapeake, Ohio passed away Saturday June 9, 2012 at Kings Daughters Medical Center. He was born August 27, 1967 in Orange, California. He was preceded in death by his father Theodore Wilks Jr.; and stepsister Rebecca Spellman. He was a retired Veteran Service Representative and a Marine Corps Veteran. He is survived by his wife Denise Wilks; mother and stepfather Kathleen and Robert Spellman of South Point, Ohio; son Blake Wilks of Ona, WV; two stepsons Glen Rose Jr. and Evan Rose of both Chesapeake, Ohio; one half sister Michelle Smith; and several uncles and many other friends. Funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday June 12, 2012 at Hall Funeral Home by Pastor David Viars. Burial will follow in Burlington Greenlawn Cemetery South Point, Ohio. Proctorville VFW Post #6878 will conduct military graveside rites. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 am. Tuesday June 12, 2012 at Hall Funeral Home Proctorville, Ohio.
