It's interesting the thoughts that come to mind when I remember Erik. Growing up I had the plasure of hanging out with him and Marcus and Lloyd and Irene - they were always so nice to me. Sliding down the hills behind their house, shooting clays, playing football, playing video games... Where does the time go? They may be simple memories, but these are the memories I have of Erik, and to me they are special. For some reason the good ones seem to go first. My heart goes out to his parents, my prayers go out to his family. My Gods hands guide you in this difficult time.

Erik Lloyd Kiste age 32 of Rosebush formerly of Sidney passed away unexpectedly Tuesday July 3, 2012 in Livonia MI. He was born in Greenville MI on December 10, 1979 the son of Lloyd and Irene Thorpe Kiste. Erik was a graduate of Central Montcalm High School in 1998 and served with the US Marine Corps for 8 years with a tour of duty in Iraq. He attended the University of Michigan when he was called back to duty in the Marine Reserves. While still serving the military he returned to his education and received a Bachelor Degree in 2005 and a Masters Degree in 2010 in accounting from Central Michigan University. He was married on March 23, 2007 to Karry L. Christenbery and was employed for PNC Bank in Oscoda and then became a forensic accountant with Alix Partners in Southfield, Michigan. He was a member of the Oscoda Lions Club. He and his family were planning a move to Southeast Michigan with their employment careers.
