Ruth Agnes Brown Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1925 - 2012 Funeral services for Ruth Agnes Brown, 86, of Buna will be at 2:00 pm Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at First Baptist Church in Buna under the direction of Farmer Funeral Home with interment following at R. S. Farmer Memorial Cemetery in Silsbee. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Monday at the funeral home. Mrs. Brown died July 8, 2012 at Harbor House Hospice in Beaumont. A native of Maysville, Texas, Ruth was a longtime resident of Buna. She was a housewife. She is preceded in death by her husband Claude Bruce Brown; son Craig Quinn and grandson Bo Brown. Survivors include sons Joe Brown of Siloam Springs, AR. and Michael Quinn of Midpines, CA; daughter Ruthell Lounsberry of Buna; daughter-in-law Cindy Quinn; sisters Rose Piski of Texas City and Lucille Vaughn of Santa Fe, TX. and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family would like to extend a special Thank You to Dr. Patibandla and her staff and the lab, staff and nurses at Harbor House Hospice. In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations may be made to St. Jude Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN. 38105 or Harbor House Hospice 2450 N Major Dr. Beaumont, TX. 77713.

So thankful for the many years I shared with you and papaw. I have so very many good memories of good, good times at the different places ya'll lived while managing ranches. I think my favorite was Glen Meadow. I would give anything for you not to have had to fight the terrible disease, leukemia. But, God saw otherwise. You did, however, fight all the way to the end. Your strength is amazing! I love you to the moon and back! You will never, ever be forgotten and there will always be a void in my heart. Rest in peace, Grandma.

Please accept our sincerest condolences on the loss of such a wonderful woman, Miss Ruth. The world has definately suffered a tremendous loss without her kindness and compassion. She was certaintly one of the kindness ladies I have ever met. We are so sorry for your loss.
