1918 - 2012
 Anis E. Mees, 93, of Milton, WV, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, July 17, 2012. She was born July 19, 1918, in Putnam County, WV, a daughter of the late Perry and Sarah Meadows Clagg. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Wendell E. Mees; her son, Lionel R. Mees; her brother, Lewis E. Clagg and her sister, Pansy Meadows. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church, Ona, WV. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Donna Mees; three granddaughters and their husbands, Kim and Simon Morrison of Milton, Gail and James Enochs of Salt Rock and Amy and Scott Scragg of Milton; five great-grandchildren, Joshua Morrison (Jessica Stanley), Zachary Morrison (Dawn), Tyranda Scragg, Isaac Scragg, and Erin Enochs; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, July 20, 2012, at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton, with Daniel Beaver officiating. Visitation will be 2 hours prior to the service. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery. The family would like to thank Lincoln Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and special neighbors Joan and Jay Mabe.
