Ray Robert Hamlin, 74, of Huntington, WV passed away Friday, July 20, 2012 at Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington, WV. He was born August 27, 1937 in Lawrence County, Ohio son of the late Kelsey and Mary Thacker Hamlin. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Pauline Hamlin. He is survived by three sons Ray Robert Hamlin, Jr of Ravenna, Ohio, Lewis Hamlin of Guyandotte, WV, and Danny Hamlin of Huntington, WV; three daughters Debra Niebert of Glenwood, WV, Rebecca Hamlin of Glenwood, WV and Mary Louise Johnson of Pilon, SC; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; one brother John Hamlin of Dayton, Ohio; and one sister Freda Adkins of Proctorville, Ohio. He was a member of Lucinda Baptist Church. Funeral service will be conducted 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio by Rev. Eddie Salmons. Burial will follow in Getaway Cemetery, Chesapeake, Ohio. Visitation will be held 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, July 23, 2012 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio.
