Betty Jane Bishop Henson,91, of Huntington, WV. was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday July 26, 2012 at Grayson Caring Hands. She was born in Portsmouth, Ohio on July 19, 1921 daughter of the late William P. and Mary Bias Bishop. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband James E. Henson. She is survived by one son James L. (Pamela) Henson; one brother Ronald Bishop; two grandchildren Debora (James) Akers and James S. (Michelle) Henson; two great grandchildren Nikki (Roger) Ash and Dakota Akers. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, July 29, 2012 at Hall Funeral Home Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor John Lowe. The family will receive friends 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, July 29, 2012 at Hall Funeral Home Proctorville, Ohio. She will be laid to rest with her husband James E. Henson in Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, Ohio. Mrs. Henson's family wishes to thank Kevin and Alisha Grayson and their staff at Caring Hands for the kind and loving care received by our mother and grandmother during the last two years of her life and also for their consideration and kindness to all of us.
