Funeral services for Wilma Doris Woodard Nash, 92, of Evadale, will be 1:00 pm Friday, August 3, 2012 at Central Baptist Church with Reverend Jeff Gravis, Reverend Roger Hoogterp and Rowdy Nash presiding. Following the service, interment will be in Ebenezer Cemetery in Jasper. Visitation will begin Thursday at 5:00 pm at Farmer Funeral Home.

Mrs. Nash died July 31, 2012 at Silsbee Oaks Healthcare.

A native of Oklahoma, Mrs. Nash was a longtime resident of Evadale. She taught at both Silsbee ISD and Evadale ISD, retiring after 37 years. Mrs. Nash volunteered at Silsbee Doctors Hospital when it was open.

Survivors include three sons, Mickey Nash and wife Judy of Wildwood, Ronny Nash and wife Eileen of Silsbee and Malcolm Nash of Possom Kingdom; daughter Patsy Mahan of Evadale; grandchildren, Melissa Howard, Melinda Gibson, Beth Nash Williams, Wyatt Nash, Troy Nash, Nancy Nash Webster, Clay Nash and Christopher Nash, David Moore, Danny Moore and Calvin Moore; fifteen great grandchildren and three great, great grandchildren.

I have been out of town and just read about Mrs. Nash. She was a wonderful influence to many folks during her 92 years. She will be missed.

Wonderful memories of Aunt Wilma from my childhood and can not recall one conversation that did not include some talk about the "camp". Prayers have been sent.
