Ann Nell Herbst Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1934 - 2012 Funeral services for Ann Nell Herbst, 77, of Silsbee will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at First United Methodist Church in Silsbee under the direction of Farmer Funeral Home, with interment following at Little Hope Cemetery in Jasper. Visitation will be 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Herbst died August 4, 2012 at her residence. Ann Nell was a native of Jasper and had been a resident of Silsbee for 46 years. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Ann Nell had worked as a legal secretary, a realtor and had been a Bank Vice President. Survivors include her husband Bob Herbst of Silsbee; sons Randy Herbst and wife Debbie of Jasper and Rusty Herbst and wife Robin of Hudson; grandchildren Jeremy Herbst and wife Meagan of Jasper, Joanna Johnson and husband Zack of La Porte and Miles Herbst of Hudson and great grandchild Chrystal Herbst of Jasper. The family wishes to say a special thank you to Ann Stanley, Sandra Biscamp and Helen Bauer for the kindness and loving care they showed Ann Nell. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to First United Methodist Church Building Fund at 670 N 5th Street Silsbee or to the charity of your choice.

Bob and family: You are in my prayers. Ann Nell and I worked together many years ago at Silsbee State Bank. However, my favorite times were at the card table with her playing bridge. She will be missed by many.
