Wenona E. Brumfield, 90, of Proctorville, Ohio passed away Monday, August 6, 2012 at St. Mary's Medical Center, Huntington, WV. She was born July 3, 1922 in Chesapeake, Ohio daughter of the late Emmett and Oma Mannon Taylor. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Harold Brumfield; two sisters Wanda Mannon and Mary Alice Graham; and one brother James Taylor. She is survived by two daughters Carolyn Barry and Rita (Jack)Irwin all of Proctorville, Ohio; three grandsons Eric (Denise) Barry of Lawton, OK, J.L. (Amy) Irwin of Huntington, WV and H.R. (Becky) Irwin of Wayne, WV; three great grandchildren Brett and Ethan Barry, and Abigail Irwin; three sisters Juanita Freeman, Helen McCoy and Lois Freeman; and several nieces and nephews. She was a member of Greasy Ridge Church of Christ. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday, August 10, 2012 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio by Minister Barry Kelley and Minister Tom Miller. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens, South Point, Ohio. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday August 9, 2012 at Hall Funeral Home Proctorville, Ohio.
