Talmage Jeffers Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1926 - 2012 Talmage "Tab" Jeffers, 86, of Hamlin, WV, passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2012. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, August 11, 2012, at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Rev. Joe Sexton. Burial will be in McComas-Adkins Cemetery. He was born January 13, 1926, in Branchland, a son of the late John Calvin and Alice Thomas Jeffers. He was preceded in death by five brothers, Emmitt, Luther, Edgar, Stacy and Ellis and three sisters, Lue Brock, Diana Salmons and Alta Porter. He is survived by his sister, Glenna McComas of Huntington; special niece, Janice "Sissy" Adkins; special nephew, Calvin "Pete" McComas and many special family members and friends. The family wants to give a special thank you to Lincoln Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Hamlin. This was his second loving family for the past 26 years. Visitation will be Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace.

so sorry to hear of tabs passing...am out of town but want to send my sympathy...may he rest in peace

My wife and daugher are cloggers that perform at the nursing home. Tab would always sit and smile when they performed and it was a couple of years that we did not think he spoke at all. On Christmas we were there and Santa came to visit, well Tab talked up a storm. My daughter baked him a cake for his birthday one year and gave him presents at other times.He was special to our family and we will surely miss him. Jimmy, Jordan, and Carolyn Walls
