Many good memories of Nick and his Slavik Family over the years. I worked with Nick for 43 years and Jack and I knew him much longer. His golf buddies will miss him and will certainly play a round of 9 holes for him. God Bless Mildred and all the family members.

Nick was the cashier at Silsbee State Bank, over the vault, among other things. He has to be one of the most pleasant people I've ever been around. He treated everyone the same and prided himself in never forgetting a name. I don't think he ever missed a day of work and we certainly enjoyed working with him. After he retired, Nick would come every day to drink coffee and visit with whomever wasn't busy or whatever customer was there. He made the rounds to say hi to everybody. Nick was a very special person and will be missed by all who knew him! RIP Nick Slavik You were dearly loved!
