Bernice Edward (B.E.) Simmons, Sr. Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1927 - 2012 Funeral services for Bernice Edward (B. E.) Simmons, 85, of Lumberton will be 10:00 am Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following in R. S. Farmer Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00- 8:00 pm Monday at the funeral home. Mr. Simmons died November 24, 2012 at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont. B. E. was retired from American Valve and Hydrant as a welder. Survivors include daughter Nola Simmons Coleman from Lumberton; sons Jimmy Dale Simmons and wife Nita of Silsbee, Billy Ray Simmons, Bernice Edward Simmons, Jr. and Tony Wayne Simmons and wife Nadine all of Lumberton; sister Mary Alene Hatch of Buna; ten grandchildren and twenty two great grandchildren.

Nola,Jimmy,Billy,Eddie and Tony I am so sorry for your loss. I was not aware that Mr. Simmons had passed until today. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you. I always liked your Dad he was a special person growing up. He will be missed.

Saddened to see the passing of B.E. He and I were co-workers at the Valve and he was a very kind person. Always enjoyed visiting with him in passing here in Lumberton. Prayers to the family.
