Mrs. Anne T. Davis, age 90, longtime Educator of San Augustine County, passed from this life on Monday, November 26, 2012, in San Augustine.
Anne was born to Carrie (Becker) Doyle and James Doyle on February 3, 1922, in Saginaw, Michigan. She worked as a Registered Nurse and was a longtime Educator having taught school for many years. She was a member of the St. Augustine Catholic Church in San Augustine.
Catholic Mass Rites will be recited at 10 a.m. Thursday, November 29, 2012 in the St. Augustine Catholic Church in San Augustine with Father Rowland officiating. Mass of Christian Burial will follow in the St. Augustine Catholic Cemetery in San Augustine. Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Wednesday, November 28, 2012, with a Rosary being held at 7 p.m. in the Wyman Roberts Memorial Chapel, 316 West Columbia Street, San Augustine, Texas. Pallbearers are George Russell, Durwood Hooper, Joe Davis, Danny Davis, Doug Davis and Oliver Bodine.
Those who are left to cherish her memory include: Her husband, James Oran Davis of San Augustine; Sons, Danny Davis and his wife, Becky of Richmond; Douglas Davis and his wife, Catrina of Troy, Ohio; Grandchildren: Rachel Davis, Joshua Davis, Jacob Davis, Jace Englehardt, Katie Englehardt, Jordan Davis, Megan Davis and Shane Knight; Sisters, Trudy Boetcher of Traverse City, Michigan and Lynn Rozineck of Bay City, Michigan
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carrie and James Doyle; Sister, Carolyn Scott and Brother, Leo Doyle
