Barbara R. Cochran, 64, of Franklin Furnace, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday November 28, 2012 at Cabell Huntington Hospital. She was preceded in death by her father and mother William H. and Mildred Cannan. She is survived by her husband Bill of 47 years; three children; daughters Wendy Avery of Franklin Furnace and Angie Moore of Ironton, Ohio; and son William Jr. of Barboursville, WV; four sisters Florence Smith of Florida, Jane Whealey of Bellefonte, KY, Patty Cannan of Ironton, Ohio; and Margie Cannan of Lexington, KY; and one brother Jimmie Cannan of Columbus, Ohio; 11 grandchildren; and one great granddaughter. As per her wishes there will be no services. Hall Funeral Home Proctorville, Ohio is in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/hall.

To my friend Barb. You were one of my best friends. You were always there when I had a gripe about something. You will never be forgotten. I know you are walking with the lord right now and you are in no more pain. I love you girl! To Bill n kids my prayers and thoughts are with you. She was a great lady!!!

Bill I'm so sorry for the loss of Barb she was a great person I loved her like my own Mom she got onto me about something everyday I will miss her more than you will know if ever you need anything I'm there for u and the rest of the family. Love you

So sorry for your lose ..losing your mother/ wife is the hardest thing ever to go through I pray you all find peace and comfort and know that I'm always here for your family ..may god be with you all through this time she was a very sweet woman and was loved my many and will be missed ...love you all
