Funeral services for Charlie Claude Herrin Jr, 70, of Kountze, will be 11:00 am Monday, December 10, 2012 at United Pentecostal Church of Sour Lake with interment following in Holland Cemetery in Kountze. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm Sunday at the church.
Mr. Herrin died December 6, 2012 at his residence.
A native of Bon Weir, he was a long time resident of Kountze. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
Survivors include his wife of 39 years Betty Holland Herrin of Kountze; daughters Dana Frazier and husband James of Pineland, Penny Hill and husband Tommie of Kountze and Lana LeNormand of Sour Lake; sons Keith LeNormand of Kountze and Junior Burns of Silsbee; live-in grandchildren Jimmie, Rebecca and Brian LeNormand; sisters Mattie Pearl Whitmer, Teri Mae Brinkley, Anna Mae Vosti and Nora Marie Doughtery; twelve grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and one on the way.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Texas Home Health Hospice.
