James Michael Gravis, Jr., 44, of Evadale, passed away at his home on Wednesday, December 12, 2012.
Michael was born October 19, 1968 in North Shore, TX to James Michael and Joan Gravis. Upon graduation from high school, Michael entered the US Air Force and retired with an honorable discharge after more than 21 years of service to his country.
Michael is preceded in death by his father, James Michael "Mike" Gravis.
He is survived by his daughter, Jade Gravis of Evadale; mother Joan Gravis of Evadale; sister Rhonda LeBlanc and husband Britt of Evadale; brothers Douglas Gravis and wife Rhonda of Evadale and John Steven Gravis and wife Jo Ellen of Silsbee and four nieces.
Visitation will be 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm Friday, December 14, 2012 at New Beginnings Church in Evadale. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Saturday, December 15, 2012 at the church, with Reverend Jeff Gravis officiating. Interment will follow in Morse Cemetery in Buna.
