Funeral services for Claudine Davenport, 84 , of Silsbee will be 2:00pm Friday, January 4, 2013 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following in Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will begin 5:00pm Thursday, January 3, 2012 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Davenport died January 1, 2013 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont.
Mrs. Davenport was a native of Beaumont and resident of Silsbee.
She was preceded in death by parents Claude and Pearl Bumstead; sister Patsy Bumstead; brothers R.M Bumstead and Eddie Lee Neely and husbands Henry Selman Swearingen and Alton Charles Davenport.
Survivors include two sons Henry Swearingen and wife Marcella of Jasper and Marvin Swearingen of Kirbyville; three daughters Margaret Long of Silsbee, Patsy Lewis of Newton and Altonette Shannon and husband Keith of Deweyville; one brother J.W. Bumstead of Buna; four sisters Marie Neely of Houston, Shirley Brown of Beaumont, Cynthia Isaacks of Woodville and Margaret Sessums of Zachary, La., along with 16 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
